Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays
Christmas to me; is like Thanksgiving, because it’s the day I give Thanks to the Lord, for all the great things that have happened throughout the year.
I do that on Thanksgiving as well, but still — I mean it deep down in my heart — more at Christmas. I guess Christ brought us the miracle of forgiveness as a Truth, and that makes this holiday special – combining two things I love together — both as a Turkey roasting day and as a spiritual milestone — ending the year before we begin again, anew, next week.
This year is an especially great Christmas as my list of Thanks is momentous!
Max has graduated (Cornell)!
Merrill is next (Duquesne)!
It seems stupid to list other stuff after those two, so I’ll leave it there.
