Pelosi’s Big Problems

I used to wonder why Nancy Pelosi went to such lengths to assure she didn’t get any surprise primary challenges and suddenly I know why she was so careful.

She won the midterm, but it was a phyric victory. The election of just 2 representatives, both primary challenges she would have squashed if she could have – have the entire Democratic Party on the path to ruin in 2020.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Ilhan Omar have become a nightmare for Pelosi. They have sucked every cubic inch of air — out of the mainstream media narrative machine and blown in back into the gears of the American electorate as blow torch gas.

Impeach! (Mueller who?, who cares, Impeach anyway!)

Green New Deal! UBI! Socialism! (Huh? What do you mean — what do they cost? What’s that?)

These are all policy issues that Pelosi does not want to talk about with the electorate, especially through mouthpieces like AOC and Omar, because she knows it will be suicide for the national party in every swing district and is already responsible for damage Pelosi herself will probably admit privately cannot be repaired in such a short time.

I think it’s hysterical.

Pelosi deserves this punishment, she hung on too long, broke precedent to extend her run at the power and feed trough and now she is looking at infamy as a Speaker. Pelosi is a Catholic, maybe she should view this development — as a sign from God — that it’s time for her to retire.
