Israel is sending Harvey aid workers, no word from Hamas
The “no word from Hamas” part — was just me, being sarcastic, sorry.
Thank you Israel.
Although our previous President didn’t show it, we love you too.

GP — Two dedicated and skilled teams of Israeli aid experts are headed to Texas to provide essential relief, as well as psychological support, to the thousands of individuals who lost everything due to Hurricane Harvey.
The storm hit Texas on Sunday and continued rainfall left over 20 individuals dead and thousands upon thousands homeless as flood waters ravaged Houston, the U.S.’s fourth-largest city. The storm is said to have affected around a quarter of the population of Texas. Coming to help out in the fight against Hurricane Harvey is IsraAID, which will focus on removing debris and cleaning homes while also offering psychological support to the residents affected.
Yotam Polizer, the CEO of IsraAID, commented:
“In crises with large-scale destruction, national and international aid efforts typically focus on practical, physical support, with limited resources allocated to the mental and emotional rehabilitation of affected populations.”
iAID, an international aid organization based in Israel, is also sending a team of 9-10 Israeli relief professionals to offer support to the national guard and other non-governmental American aid groups, to help families and communities affected by the storm.
IsraAID is partnering with the Jewish communities to do a full-scale outreach and aid process that will assist in supporting the “vulnerable population groups” that were evacuated to various shelters in both Austin and Dallas.
