Trump Rocks China and Taiwan

Trump Rocks China and Taiwan

The U.S. currently has a LOT of problems with China – and for 20 years now — seemingly no leverage with which to make the Chinese do anything other than what they damn well please about those problems.

The criminal cyber attacks by their Army, the South Sea China ocean grab, the twenty year currency war, the extended dumping practices, I could go on and on naming issues the Chinese have refused to reform while openly flaunting international and bilateral agreements with the U.S. and the rest of the world.

But they have a soft spot.

It’s called the “One-China” policy. President Carter unfortunately agreed to this ridiculous diplomatic blunder which forces us to PRETEND that the island of Taiwan with it’s 23 million people and highly successful economy, and it’s own DEMOCRATICALY elected government, is NOT actually a separate country but a “Renegade” province the over 1 billion mainland communist Chinese have the right to re-absorb (invade) when they get around to it.

Trump, genius negotiator that he is — has sensed the softness in the Chinese position. He knows they will NEVER, EVER, trade away that “One-China” agreement/lie with the U.S., it’s the thin thread they have to justify their barbaric decision to eventually wage war on Taiwan and war on Taiwan they MUST.

The 23 million people themselves are not a threat to the communists of course – BUT — the constant river of credible information that flows from giant extended Chinese families with roots in both territories is a huge threat.

The CCP doesn’t fear invasion from without, they fear revolt from within.

What does all this mean? Read the statement below from Trump and you’ll see it instantly. This statement by Trump will rock Beijing. He went from holding an empty hand, after a losing night at the table — to holding Aces with this one simple statement.

I don’t know why we have to be bound by a one-China policy unless we make a deal with China having to do with other things, including trade
US PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP

In the end I hope the communists do what I expect them to do, and try to give Trump more of the same runaround they’ve been using on the U.S. government for 20 years – and watch while Trump simply declares the “One-China” policy deader than NAFTA and recognizes Taiwan as the military and trade partner it already is.

That would make God happy, the Taiwanese people happy, the American people happy — and the only people I know it would upset are communist government officials dedicated to our eventual downfall.

US president-elect Donald Trump has questioned whether Washington should continue its one-China policy if Beijing does not make concessions on trade and other issues.

“I don’t know why we have to be bound by a one-China policy unless we make a deal with China having to do with other things, including trade,” Trump told Fox News Sunday in response to a question on his taking a phone call from Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen, a move which broke with decades of US diplomatic tradition. The one-China policy recognises that Taiwan is part of China, but the US has remained ambiguous on the issue.

Besides trade, Trump said China was not cooperating with the US on its handling of the yuan, on North Korea, and tensions in the South China Sea.

Trump’s comments come amid uncertainty over his pick for secretary of state – Washington’s top diplomat – with relatively unknown ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson seemingly topping the list after a search that included interviews with one-time Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani and ex-CIA director David Petraeus.
