Any day now a major Democratic operative at the top of the Clinton campaign will jump ship and it might even be two.
Crumbling numbers, mathematical impossibilities, answers so clearly scripted it’s like a Stepford wife has replaced Hillary, smiles so forced you could cast her face in plaster and it wouldn’t come out fuzzy at all, huge campaign infighting — but not more than expected considering how badly they are doing — and of course Hillary’s biggest problem; she doesn’t know what she’s doing.
With this much money, life experience, Bill Clinton as an advisor, along with 90% of the DNC honcho’s Hillary should have produced at least 1 new, important, or even intelligible idea about SOMETHING she could actually make better (without making an equal or greater number of things worse). This campaign doesn’t have a shortage of supposed brain power — it’s just a complete idea vacuum anyway.
How is that even possible?
If Hillary just put together a list of the top ten things championed by her top 3 advisors and husband, she would have had a much better idea list than the one she apparently drafted. This is now a big problem.
If you ignore the top talent around you (because of a personality disorder) and then the ideas you force on that team flop, the top team members have no reason to stay. If they have no stake in the agenda and your poll numbers are diving, the campaign keystones most ignored by the candidate (and most disliked by her top aide) begin to look around.
I’ll bet Biden and Sanders could use some help right now.
It will mean a pay cut, but I’m betting they’ll sleep better at night.
