What a stinking, lousy, ugly joke this George Stephanopoulos is.
He was a Clinton apologist and sycophant who only feigned objectivity in the media world to land a big buck job. A job no self respecting news organization would ever give someone this political, and now that network is “surprised” he is simultaneously contributing to and covering the Clinton’s? That’s a lie and everybody in America knows it’s a lie. Everybody knows ABC only gave him the job because of his connections to the Clinton’s in the first place, not for his journalistic abilities and certainly not for his journalistic integrity.
The American people aren’t stupid though; they never trusted this guy because they know where he came from. Once you crawl out of the Clinton cave of lies, deception, double-talk and back stabbing, you can never be trusted again and this guy is the perfect example of how the Clinton’s get their friends into high places so they can keep the Clinton gravy training running to one more stop, regardless of how many bodies must lay down to form the tracks.
From Fox News (a little too gleefully) – “ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos got deeper in hot water Thursday with his network, which revised upward to $75,000 the amount of money he contributed to the Clinton Foundation without full disclosure to the network or viewers — while he was covering Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and foundation controversies.
Stephanopoulos apologized Thursday and said he should have revealed the contributions, which were initially reported at $50,000.
But an ABC official told Fox News on Thursday afternoon the anchor has changed that number, to $75,000. He is also pledging not to moderate any presidential debates, Fox News has learned.”
That’s what passes for ethics with the Clintons; you violate all manner of ethical canon and the result? Take a vacation, skip moderating the presidential debates, but stick around in the background managing the news and influencing story selection at one of the big 3 networks AFTER you admit your journalistic credibility – for years – has been in the shitter.
Stephanopoulos should quit ABC while the getting is good and switch over to Hillary’s campaign, it probably won’t pay as well, nor for as long, but he’ll feel much more at home in her headquarters than he will in a newsroom where the ethical boundaries expected of him — are completely unknown to him.
