Today was interesting. Prime Minister Netanyahu stood up today and gave a historic address that was well thought out; polite, and so logical it would be hard to argue with – unless – you were Nancy Pelosi, President Barack Obama or Harry Reid.
In which case during the speech, Pelosi actually turned her back on Netanyahu and made facial gestures mocking the content. It was shameful performance and I think every Republican candidate should made a video of it, splice in the President remarking shortly afterward that he didn’t even watch the speech and then cut to Netanyahu talking about the following points:
1. Warning the world that the marriage of Islamic terrorism and nuclear weapons is the greatest threat the world faces.
2. Warning the U. S. Congress that the Iranians can not be trusted to make a fair deal on nukes while waging war on other people in 4 countries and killing, torturing and imprisoning more people, even as we speak.
3. Warning those in that chamber that this is not a bi-partisan issue like the President is insisting, but one of life or death for Israel.
This speech and the idiotic reaction of the Democratic leadership (Delusional actually) was the kiss of death for the Democrats in the next election.
This will cost them House seats, a Senate seat and destroy any remaining chance the Democrats had for the White House in 2016.
This performance by the Democratic leadership in total over this speech is one of the stupidest things I’ve ever seen an entire group of grown people do (Why?, why?…why?) the President’s, Pelosi’s, Wendy Sherman, John Kerry, the whole lot of them, shameful, dangerous, reckless even and most Americans let this stuff pass by, but not the Jewish electorate.
They pay attention. How could they not be deeply disturbed by what they saw today?
How clear can it get? Once Iran strikes at Israel, which they will do, the Democrats won’t be able to elect somebody dog catcher in states with Jewish voters for 20 years and I predict all of that happens before Obama leaves office because he was foolish enough to trust an Ayatollah with the potential to create a nuke.
Wendy Sherman has done this before while working under Clinton and now there are 27 million people stranded in North Korea, in a giant prison camp, for decades, with no way out now, or maybe ever. To let this Sherman woman negotiate another treaty with another nation while they develop another nuclear weapon — is so absurd it’s like a bad movie where somebody messes up real bad and through a comedy of errors — ends up in charge somehow anyway.
But in the case of North Korea, surprisingly, it didn’t hurt the Dems. Not a lot of North Korean voters living in the U.S. But the Jewish electorate is here, they vote, they spend money, they influence elections and they remember.
They’ll remember Bibi up there warning Pelosi while she turned her back. They’ll remember.
