Today the secretary of state John Kerry testified before Congress and accused Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israeli of exhibiting poor judgment; as if he were mentally imbalanced, because Bibi supported the Bush war effort in Iraq.
Kerry actually then sarcastically uttered the words “And we all know how that ended.”
It’s official. The Obama White House is a bunch of liars and idiots.
Doesn’t Senator Kerry remember voting for the Iraq war effort himself and praising Bush for its early execution?
Doesn’t Kerry who is evidently dumber than a box of Kleenex realize many of those same Senators he snarked this comment out to – also voted for that authorization – they just aren’t as in denial about it as Kerry is.
Are Kerry and the President still so caught up in this Democratic rhetoric of blaming everything on the Bush administration — they are willing to let the Iranians get a nuclear bomb?
We need a new Secretary of State before this one and the President get Israel incinerated.
I’ve tried to be patient, read my blog roll, I have, I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but that’s not possible anymore. Details of what this administration have agreed to do for or with the Iranians are leaking out and it looks more like a nuclear bomb making preparation program designed for the Iranians, than a containment program.
They get to keep six thousand centrifuges and a path to make a nuclear bomb unobstructed after 10 years PLUS the continued operation of some of their facilities and weak inspection protocols.
I’ll be blunt blog readers, here’s what gonna happen next:
Netanyahu will speak to Congress and give a masterful, heart felt, fair and balanced call to the American people to support Israel by making sure the no-nuke deal the Obama administration is negotiating with the Iranians isn’t a bad one.
The Obama administration and the liberal media in the United States will attack Bibi personally, they will attack the speech and it’s content and they will claim the very speech itself was somehow an affront to Obama. I can safely predict they will do this because they already are. This is like affirmative action street politics practiced on the White House level.
Obama and Kerry must think that if the Ayatollah gets aggressive with Israel they can just send Al Sharpton in to shake him down for some “We won’t yell discrimination if you pay us” blackmail money and the problem will go away. Like the Ayatollah and/or Netanyahu care one iota what color Obama is. Do the WH staff live in such a fantasy bubble that they think Netanyahu is doing all this just to Obama because Obama is black? What the hell are they smoking at the White House?
The deal announced by Obama will be a disgrace, giving the Iranians six thousand centrifuges, retention of key infrastructure for bomb making, and a clear path to make one after 10 years when they exit the program into the Nuclear Non-Proliferation club, the one perch from which they will be safe to pursue construction of a bomb.
This appeasing embarrassment of a deal will be dead on arrival in the Senate, Bibi having done his work.
The Iranians will push ahead with weapon fabrication and then the path splits.
If the Israeli’s can get the facility with a strike they will. If not, before Obama leaves office, the Iranians will explode a nuclear test device.
That will be the end of the Democratic Party for 25 years in America because half the Jewish base (or more) will leave the party and be gone for a long time. Kerry and the President are committing political suicide to protect the Ayatollah Khamenei; a man I predict rejects this ridiculous offer anyway – because it doesn’t let him build a bomb fast enough!
Reverse course Mr. President. Ask for Kerry’s resignation. Replace Wendy Sherman. Let the Ayatollah know, if the deal doesn’t genuinely prevent them from building a bomb, than you won’t agree to it. If you won’t do that, then Susan Rice is correct, this situation is damaging the fabric of the U.S. Israeli relationship but not for the reasons she said, instead, it’s for the reasons Mr. Netanyahu is saying, and that’s a sad day for the Middle East, the U.S., the Israeli’s and even the Iranians.
The average Iranian doesn’t want war, doesn’t want their little country under the threat of nuclear war, for god’s sake Mr. President, wake up, these people need peace, prosperity, protection, and a path to normalization with the rest of the world, not a nuclear bomb.
If you think sanctions are making it hard on this Iranian population, you’re right they are. But not as hard as war and to be honest, 100% of this is on the Iranian leadership, unless they can rationalize the need for a nuke, which I challenge. They cannot expect to trade, prosper and benefit from globalization with the simultaneous aim of building weapons of mass destruction aimed at those global partners.
If they have the inalienable right to construct a bomb Mr. President – then don’t we also have a sovereign and inalienable right to stop them?
