From the news this morning; Vice President Joe Biden will not attend a controversial speech Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to make to Congress next month, in a new White House snub of the Israeli prime minister.
“The Vice President’s office expects that the Vice President will be traveling abroad during the joint session of Congress,” an official said.
This surprises me because I thought Joe Biden was running for President and therefore needed the Jewish vote inside the Democratic primary.
This decision by Joe is a clear indicator he doesn’t think he can beat Hillary and he’s not angling to run to win. Otherwise he’d be there, giving Netanyahu some face time in front of the American and Jewish audiences interested in Israel, all of whom — will be glued to that speech that night.
Thank God he’s skipping the speech and planning a position with Hillary, not against her because the only person who would be worse for America as President of the United States (among the top contenders) than Hillary would be Biden. His decision to commit hari kari for the president’s pride here, is a miracle for America.
